We operate the Mostro Gelato website and are responsible for how your personal data is handled.

When we collect information about you

We may receive information about you in the following situations:

when you browse the website, through server logs
when you send us a message through the contact form
when you submit a job application through the careers form
when you accept analytics cookies

Server logs

When you visit the website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record technical information, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of the request. This information is used to keep the website running and secure. Our hosting provider is mydataknox.com, based in Croatia. Server log retention is determined by the hosting provider’s infrastructure; consult your hosting account or agreement for the exact period.

Contact form

If you send us a message through the contact form, we receive your first name, surname, email address, phone number (optional), and your message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry.

Submissions are sent by email to info@mostrogelato.com and are not stored in the website database. Emails are kept for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry and then deleted.

Job applications

If you submit a job application through the careers form on this website, we receive your first name, surname, email address, phone number (optional), desired start date (optional), CV as a PDF file (required), and an optional message. We use this information solely to evaluate and respond to your application.

Submissions are sent by email to info@mostrogelato.com and are not stored in the website database. Application emails are kept for the duration of the recruitment process and deleted once the process is complete, or you request removal, in accordance with applicable law.

Your cookie preferences

We store your cookie choices in two places so you do not see the cookie notice on every visit. A browser storage entry (mostro_site_preferences) holds your full preference record, including policy version and expiry date. A cookie (mostro_site_consent) holds either all (analytics accepted) or necessary (analytics declined) so the server can load the correct features before the page renders. Both expire after 12 months. This storage is strictly necessary for the website to work as intended and does not require your separate consent.

Analytics

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect information about how visitors use the website. This helps us understand which pages are popular, how long visits last, and whether visitors encounter any problems. No advertising or remarketing features are active.

Google Analytics is loaded through the Google Site Kit plugin using Measurement ID G‑HC1J369HQ7. Analytics data is retained for 2 months (Google’s default setting). Google LLC, based in the United States, processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and participates in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Analytics cookies are placed only after you explicitly opt in. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the Privacy Settings link in the footer.

Third-party resources the website loads

The website uses fonts, animations, and other interface resources from third-party providers as part of the site experience. When your browser loads these, the provider receives your IP address and basic browser information. These are not analytics or advertising tools.

Providers: Google Fonts and Google APIs CDN (Google LLC, EU–US Data Privacy Framework), CDNJS by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., EU–US Data Privacy Framework), Amazon S3 (Amazon Web Services Inc., EU–US Data Privacy Framework), Unpkg CDN (npm/Microsoft, EU–US Data Privacy Framework), jsDelivr (Prospect One sp. z o.o., Poland — EU-based, no transfer). None of these are used for advertising or remarketing.

Legal basis

Strictly necessary storage — saving your cookie preference is strictly necessary for the site to function as described above. No consent is required for this.
Analytics — processed on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw it at any time.
Server logs — our legitimate interest in keeping the website running and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form — our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries directed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Job applications — steps taken at your request prior to potentially entering an employment contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in your country.

As a company registered in Croatia, the supervisory authority responsible for us is the Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka (AZOP) — the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (azop.hr).
